Supercharged Stores is operated by Influx Inc. (“Influx”, “we”, “us” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information when you visit superchargedstores.com, contact us or use Supercharged Stores (together, the “Service”).
This policy also explains how we handle information from ecommerce stores and helpdesks connected to the Service. Our Terms of Service also apply when you use the Service.
For personal information collected directly from you through our website, forms, communications and account or billing processes, Influx generally acts as the organisation responsible for deciding how and why that information is processed.
When we process personal information contained in data that a merchant connects to Supercharged Stores, we generally do so on the merchant’s behalf and under its instructions. The merchant remains responsible for its own privacy notices, permissions and legal obligations to its customers, staff and other individuals.
Depending on how you interact with us, you may provide:
When a merchant connects Shopify, Supercharged Stores uses a secure, read-only connection to import the order and product data needed to provide the Service. Shopify handles the merchant’s Shopify credentials; those credentials are not shared with us.
For store analysis:
If a merchant connects Zendesk, Gorgias or Intercom, the Service processes ticket message text to identify recurring support issues and connect them with relevant order and product trends.
Helpdesk messages may contain personal information when received from the connected service. Names, email addresses, phone numbers and addresses are removed from message text before the Supercharged Stores team analyses it. Reports contain aggregated findings and anonymised examples, not identifiable customer information.
When you visit or use the Service, we and our hosting or technology providers may automatically collect technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, access times, identifiers and diagnostic or security events.
We may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate forms, remember settings, secure the Service and understand how the website and Service are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work properly if you block necessary cookies.
We may receive information from:
We use information to:
We process personal information where necessary to perform a contract with you, pursue our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, comply with legal obligations, or with consent where consent is required. The basis that applies depends on the information, purpose and law in your location.
Authorised Supercharged Stores team members may access connected data where needed to prepare, quality-check and deliver a report or otherwise provide the Service. Access is limited to these purposes and is subject to Influx’s privacy, security and confidentiality obligations.
Every free report is reviewed by a Supercharged Stores team member before it is delivered.
We do not use identifiable merchant or customer data to train AI models.
We may use anonymised or aggregated data to improve Supercharged Stores’ statistical models, measure performance and improve the Service. Data used for this purpose must not identify a merchant or an individual customer. We may also use information that cannot reasonably identify an individual for research, analysis and service improvement, subject to applicable law.
We may disclose information:
We do not sell personal information.
Influx and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where it was collected, including Australia, the United States and countries in the European Union. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws in your location.
When required, we use contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms designed to protect personal information transferred internationally. We also require relevant service providers to protect information consistently with applicable law and their obligations to us.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, fulfil the purposes described in this policy, comply with law, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer required, we delete it or anonymise it in accordance with applicable law.
Disconnecting an integration stops Supercharged Stores from accessing new data through that integration. It does not automatically delete information already imported.
Imported data may remain until the merchant requests deletion. To request deletion, email privacy@influx.com. We will delete or anonymise information in accordance with applicable law, except where we need to retain it for a legal obligation, security or fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement of our agreements, or another lawful purpose. Anonymised or aggregated information that no longer identifies a merchant or individual may be retained.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures designed to protect information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. These measures include access controls and protections appropriate to the nature of the information.
No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach, we will investigate, take appropriate remedial steps and provide notifications when required by applicable law.
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:
California residents may also have rights to know, access, correct and delete personal information and to receive equal service when exercising their rights. We do not sell personal information.
Residents of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom or Switzerland may also have rights to object to processing based on legitimate interests and to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.
Australians may request access to or correction of personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, where applicable.
To exercise a privacy right, email privacy@influx.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. If we process information on behalf of a merchant, we may direct you to that merchant or assist it in responding.
Where permitted, we may send product news, offers or other marketing communications. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message. You may still receive non-promotional messages about the Service, your account, security or our relationship with you.
The Service connects to or may link to services operated by third parties. Their privacy policies and terms govern their handling of information outside our Service. We do not control and are not responsible for their independent privacy practices.
The Service is intended for business users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact privacy@influx.com so we can take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will publish the updated version on this page and change the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where required by law.
